A big big big Happy Birthday to my beautiful Alice – 5 today! Can’t wait to see you; miss you and Elisa so much.
Where have the last 5 years gone to? It seems like only yesterday I was panicking about getting to the hospital in time, through the Reading rush hour traffic and here we are already, at school and growing up faster than you can say “where’s my little baby gone?”!
I guess it’s fair to say that quite a lot has happened over that time, especially recently, but to think that my little girl is now 5 and, as she put it to me the other day, “I’m nearly 5 so I’m being a grown-up now”, it’s really quite scary to think how quickly everything just flies by. It does worry me so much that I’m going to miss a lot not being with the girls every day, but I guess that can’t be helped now? I’ve got to run with what I have now and make the best of the small amount of time I have with the girls from now on, which is definitely what I am trying to do.
